With the passing of another treasured kupuna (elder), we felt a need to create a recording to honor some of the key kupuna who have guided us in our lives so they will never be forgotten. We hadn't found a good title... then at a concert as I was telling a story about the great Raymond Kane and his wife Elodia, it stood out like a neon sign floating in the air about our audience. Ray's 'middle' name, a special name given to each young baby/child when the elders observed what gifts they were given in this life. Kaleoalohapoinaʻoleohelemanu. "The voice of love that flies like a bird never to be forgotten."
